Inle Canoe Lady (Boutique Canoe Service) is innovative and responsible tourism product at Inle lake by giving the boutique canoe service for all travelers to visit the Pauck Par village. There are thirty women who row with Inle Canoe Lady. Their mission is to promote inclusive and sustainable tourism in Pauk Par Village and promote female empowerment in Inle region, Shan State.
Transfer from your hotel or sightseeing place to the village. Take a step back from the modern world of motorised transport and hop into a traditional wooden canoe with a local village guide who would take care of the paddling. After around half an hour, give the village guide a break from paddling and go ashore for a village visit. Stop at family-run workshops to see the traditional techniques. Then loop back to the starting point, say goodbye to the village guide and transfer from canoe to motorboat for the return trip.
This experience is not available during the raining season (June to end of September)
